The Battle of Orsza in 1514 was a major victory for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth against Muscovite forces. The battle demonstrated the strength of Polish and Lithuanian armies during the Renaissance period and became one of the Commonwealth's most celebrated military achievements. Although outside modern Poland (in modern Belarus), it remains an important part of Poland's wider historical battlefield landscape.
