Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

Ballycastle, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Carrick-a-Rede is a famous rope bridge on the Antrim coast, strung nearly 30 metres above the sea to connect the mainland to a tiny rocky island once used by salmon fishermen. Now a National Trust attraction, crossing it offers a thrilling walk with spectacular views over the cliffs and, on a clear day, out to Scotland.
