Giant's Causeway

The Giant's Causeway is a spectacular expanse of some 40,000 interlocking basalt columns on the Antrim coast, formed by ancient volcanic activity and steeped in the legend of the giant Finn McCool. Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the country's most famous natural landmark, cared for by the National Trust.
