The complex includes palaces, theatres, libraries, baths and decorative features inspired by Greece, Egypt and other regions of the empire. Visitors can spend hours exploring the ruins and imagining life within one of Rome's greatest imperial residences. The nearby countryside provides excellent walking opportunities.
