The square stone fortress features enormous walls, corner towers and spectacular views across the sea and nearby islands. Inside, exhibitions tell the story of the Uskoks and their naval battles. Visitors can combine the castle with coastal walks, mountain trails in the Velebit region and road trips along one of Croatia's most scenic coastal routes.
