You'll find all this and more at campsite Ecologique La Roche d'Ully, located in the Jura. This green campsite allows for an amazing holiday in one of the luxury mobile homes, chalets or lodge tents. The charming village of Ornans is only a fifteen-minute walk from the site. A view of a rocky ledge Camping Ecologique La Roche d'Ully is located in the east of France. You’ll be holidaying in the mountainous Jura, not far from Switzerland. The campsite is beautifully situated in the countryside, right next to the lovely river Loue. And with a view of a majestic rocky ledge: the Roche d'Ully. The campsite itself is also very green, both literally and figuratively. Of course we are talking about the many trees, shrubs and lawns. But did you know that this campsite has an eco-label because of its sustainable approach? There is an organic vegetable garden and the campsite is located in a recognised bird sanctuary. Swimming pool with a spa facilities With direct access from the campsite you'll find a beautiful, large swimming pool complex that is free for campsite guests. The outdoor pool has a slide and rapids. But there is also plenty of fun to be had in the indoor pool. Has all that splashing about made you tired? Then you can relax in the sauna, the jacuzzi or the hammam. Enjoying the entertainment together There’s entertainment six days a week in the summer months. The kids will have made new friends in no time. Art and crafts, games, sports and discovering the organic vegetable garden; the vegetables are used in the campsite restaurant. Can’t get more local than that! Of course, every French campsite has a jeu de boules area. So bring your balls and challenge your fellow guests to a game. You can also play table tennis, volleyball and practice archery. In case of rain, everyone gathers in the recreation room. It offers games machines, a billiard table and much more. Unique glamping tents Camping Ecologique La Roche d'Ully has a nice range of special tents and chalets. For example, there is a magical wooden house for rent that children will really love. You can also stay in one of the comfortable glamping tents or chalets. The Lodge Venezia is the crown jewel; it even boasts a freestanding bath. If you brought your own motorhome, caravan or tent, you can camp on nice grass pitches with shade and privacy. Climbing, clambering and canoeing The Roche d'Ully rock is not the only mountainous range in the area. The Roche du Mont is also a sight to see. Daredevils can climb here (via ferrata). But it's also a good place for walking. There are also plenty of climbing opportunities for kids. On the other side of the river Loue, near the campsite, there is a tree-top adventure forest with a special course for young children. You can also rent canoes there for an adventure on the water. Zoo in Besançon Ornans is a picturesque village right on the Loue. It is known locally as 'Little Venice'. With twenty restaurants there is always enough choice for a nice meal. For lovers of nineteenth-century painting, the Musée Gustave Courbet is highly recommended. A little further afield (26 km) lies the larger town of Besançon. This is the place to be for culture lovers, with its historic centre with several museums and a citadel. The citadel, located at 118 meters, houses three museums. And fun for the kids: there is also a zoo!
