Dune of Pilat and the Médoc There are interesting day trips to Sanguinet, Arcachon, Biscarrosse, La Teste-de-Buch, Cap Ferret, Gastes, Parentis-en-Born, Lacanau, Bordeaux and Hourtin. A must-see is the majestic Dune du Pilat for magnificent views. Enjoy the castles and vineyards of the Médoc. Every place has its charm, especially when they are hosting a local market.
