The thirty kilometres may be a bit too far to cycle, but you will get there in no time with the car. Dax is known as a health spa, but the ancient Roman centre is certainly also worth visiting. You could also take a day trip to elegant Biarritz or visit the famous surfing beach of Hossegor. And a trip to San Sebastian in Spain is highly recommended.
Life without a car
