Camping on the Lüneburg Heath KNAUS Campingpark Bleckede/Elbtalaue is a campsite located in Bleckede in Germany, approximately 30 km from the Lüneburg Heath (Lüneburgerheide). This campsite, situated in the 'Niedersächsische Elbtalaue' reserve, offers marked pitches with and without shade, and is a true paradise for cyclists, hikers, watersports enthusiasts and those who enjoy fishing. Cycling along the Elbe river The forest pool, with slide, diving tower and play area, which is free of charge for guests, is located immediately adjacent to the campsite. Athletic campers will love the cycle routes at the campsite. The popular Elberadweg and Deutsche Storchenstraße cycle routes as well as the beautiful, natural surroundings are made for hiking and cycling and for discovering the storks, herons, cranes and sea eagles. All aboard! The Bleckeder Kleinbahn, a tourist train which also accepts bicycles, will take you through a variety of tourist attractions. Boat trips along the Elbe, horse riding and pony trekking, the treetop adventure park in Lüneburg-Scharnebeck and the hanseatic city of Hamburg are amongst the attractions the area has to offer. Relax in the sauna For some relaxation after a busy day, Campingpark Bleckede/Elbtalaue boasts a sauna.
