Parkland camping in the Bavarian Forest If you are looking for a healthy camping holiday in Germany, Knaus Campingpark Lackenhäuser in Bavaria is the place, also in the autumn and winter months. And not just for its beautiful location in southern Germany, the region around Passau on the Danube and the start of the Bohemian Woods that continue deep into the Czech Republic. This means endless forests where you can walk for miles without meeting anyone. Indulge your body and mind There are plenty of amenities for indulging body and mind at Lackenhäuser camping park. There is a masseur, an indoor (heated) swimming pool, sauna, solarium, spa baths and a practice for naturopathy. A mini paradise in summer and winter In winter this is wonderful place for downhill or cross country skiing in the pure mountain air of the Bavarian Forest. There is a miniature golf course, playground, skittle alley and beach volleyball for the children. They can also go pony riding under supervision. This is the perfect place for a holiday to relax body and mind. A few kilometres drive and you will be in western Austria; the Czech border is also not far away.
