Park Albatros Village is built around a fantastic water park with several lagoon pools, rock slides and water slides, plus a pool bar for drinks, ice cream and light snacks. From morning to evening the animation team runs sports events, kids' clubs, mini discos and evening shows, while children can also enjoy playgrounds, a multi-sports field, mini golf and a treetop rope course among the pines. The Tyrrhenian beaches are just 800 metres away, and the lively towns of San Vincenzo and Piombino are close by for shopping and dining. Regular boats run to the island of Elba from both the campsite and Piombino, and the hilltop village of Populonia Alta with its ancient castle is a short trip away. Several famous Tuscan cities, including Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Florence, can also be visited on a day trip.
