The GR34, France's longest waymarked trail, follows almost the entire Breton coastline from Mont-Saint-Michel to Saint-Nazaire, taking in pink granite cliffs, fishing villages, megalithic sites and long sandy beaches. Most walkers tackle it in sections rather than all at once.

Coastal path throughout, ranging from easy clifftop tracks to rockier, more exposed stretches on the western tip of Brittany. Very well waymarked with red-and-white GR flashes, and easy to break into shorter day or weekend sections thanks to frequent train and bus links to the coast.
Consejos
Because it's so long, most people pick a region rather than attempt it end to end — the Crozon Peninsula and Cap Fréhel are particularly dramatic sections. Coastal accommodation books up in July–August; spring and early autumn are quieter with equally good weather.
