This part of Croatia, the beautiful Istrian peninsula with the famous towns of Poreč and Umag, is known for its beautiful coastline and the very large number of sun hours! Swimming in fresh and salt water The beach at Aminess Planet Camping Maravea Resort is a gravel and rocky beach. A great place for swimming, water skiing and surfing. You can also swim at the campsite, as each camping zone has one or more swimming pools. The centrally located swimming pool complex with children's pool and equipped sunbathing area is available to all guests of Aminess Planet Camping Maravea Resort! Fun activities and sports You can play other sports at the campsite's sports centre, such as mini golf or table tennis. This campsite has plenty of entertainment on offer for young and old. Maybe you'll play beach volleyball or enjoy a salsa lesson. Your children will not be bored either. For toddlers to teenagers, there is plenty to do. For example, the youngest ones can go on a treasure hunt and make souvenirs. For the teenagers there are theme parties, sports and game competitions. At the campsite you can also eat at the restaurant. Fresh bread and other delicacies are available at the shop. Fairytale surroundings The authentic town of Novigrad, with its old town centre full of cosy shops and terraces, is only 4 kilometres away from the campsite. A visit to the surrounding vineyards or a romantic evening walk in the fairytale surroundings are also recommended. Istria has been a part of Italy in the distant past. A trip to the Italian city of Trieste, through a narrow section of Slovenia, is highly recommended. In Pula, you can still see remains from the Roman times. The beautiful town of Rovinj is half an hour south of the campsite.
Life without a car
Car-free score: 6.5/10A realistic car-free option, but not one of the easiest. Local buses stop nearby. Shops, restaurants and Mareda are reachable on foot. A bicycle makes exploring the wider area easy.
